A capital improvements project completed in 2008 was highlighted by the renovation of 148,000 square feet of cart paths. The improvements package also included the reconstruction of 11 sand traps and the addition of three new tees. The club also switched to walk-mowing its bent grass greens in 2006 resulting in what are widely considered the finest putting surfaces in the area.

Rawiga's reputation as a true golf club is well deserved. Players of all abilities are able to find a competitive game or enjoy a peaceful round in four hours or less. Walking is permitted at all times and there are no minimum spending requirements or mandatory service charges.

The practice area includes a driving range, chipping green, practice bunker and two putting greens. Members further benefit from a golf staff that features two PGA professionals and an extensive tournament schedule. Individual and group lessons are available and a popular youth program is held each summer. The golf shop offers a wide variety of apparel and all the latest equipment.

The clubhouse has a spacious grill room with two dining areas where members and guests can eat or simply enjoy a beverage with a panoramic view of the golf course. Other amenities include men's and women's locker rooms, a lounge with a fireplace and a banquet hall.

A competition-sized heated swimming pool complete with a slide, diving board, snack shop and a separate wading pool for small children, rounds out Rawiga’s impressive list of facilities. An active social calendar features numerous holiday, children's and adult-oriented events.
